- Chandrayaan-1: In 2008, India’s first lunar mission, Chandrayaan-1, discovered water molecules on the moon’s surface and contributed to our understanding of the moon’s geology.
- Mangalyaan (Mars Orbiter Mission): In 2013, India became the fourth country inthe world to reach Mars orbit. The Mars Orbiter Mission, also known as Mangalyaan, was a significant achievement in obtaining information about surface and atmosphere of Mars.
- Astrosat: Launched in 2015, Astrosat is India’s first dedicated multi-wavelength space observatory, contributing to the study of celestial sources.
