Paper leak ‘Geography exam March 2025 SSC Maharashtra Board’

some important questions are discussed in the following post. It is likely that the Maharashtra State Board may ask some questions from this. So this is not a leak, it is just an assumption of some important question.

Question Number 1 : Items to be carried for a field visit.

the aim of field visit is to gain geographical information of any reason firsthand. So far a field visit the following things should be carried;

  2. notebook and questionnaire
  3. pen
  4. pencil
  5. Zip lock back to collect sample
  6. camera
  7. binocular
  8. magnetic compass
  9. paper map of the place
  10. information booklet about the place to be visited
  11. one first aid kit
  12. GPS enable mobile phone
  13. water bottle
  14. cap
  15. some plastic bag to manage the litter.

Question number 2 : how are Brazil and India different from each other in terms of location ?

ans: the difference in terms of location between Brazil and India are as follows :

  1. India is located in the Northern hemisphere, where is some part of Brazil is located in the Northern hemisphere and most of the Brazil lie in the southern hemisphere.
  2. India lie in the eastern hemisphere where is Brazil lie in the Western hemisphere.
  3. India is located in Asian continent there is Brazil is located in South American continent.
  4. India lie in the south of the continent of Asia where is Brazil lie in the north of the South American continent.

Question number 3 : Explain the historical background of India and Brazil.

Ans :

  1. India was under the British rule for nearly one and a half century and gained independence in 1947.
  2. in the initial year of independence India for 3 words these was had an adverse effect on the economy of India.
  3. in the post independence period, India faced severe shortage of food grains which results in females in several parts of the countries.
  4. Brazil was under the Portuguese rule for more than three centuries and gained independent in 1822.
  5. further, it was governed by a popular military government for 1930 till1985.
  6. Brazil went through global financial difficulties till date 20th century.

Question number 4 :There are fewer natural ports on the eastern coast of India.

Ans : There are fewer natural pots on a eastern coast of India due to the following reason :

  1. The Eastern Coast of India borders the Bay of Bengal and has formed as a result of depositional work of rivers.
  2. Due to the gentle slope of the land, east flowing rivers flow at lower velocities and deposit the sediments at the coast. As a result, deltas are found along this coast and make the coast shallow.
  3. A natural port can only develop where there is a deep sea and an indent coast line.

Question number 5 : Snowfall doesn’t always occur in Brazil.

Ans :

  1. Brazil is a tropical country.
  2. Since Brazil has vast latitudinal extent it experiences a great range of climatic changes. It is very hot as well as cold in Brazil.
  3. The average temperature of Brazil is between 18°C to 28°C throughout the year. This kind of temperature is not suitable for snowfall.
  4. Thus, snowfall doesn’t always occur in Brazil.

Question number 6 : evergreen rainforest in Brazil are highly called lungs of the world.

Ans :

  1. Evergreen forest of Brazil are found in the various reason due to heavy rainfall throughout the year.
  2. due to the evergreen rainforest in Brazil large amount of oxygen is released in the environment.
  3. this reduce the carbon dioxide level in the environment.
  4. therefore evergreen rainforest in Brazil are called the lungs of the world.

Question number 7 : Settlements are sparse in North-eastern brazil.

Ans:

  1. Proper climate adequate water supply, availability of resources, fertile soils are the reason for growth of urbanization particular reason.
  2. The north-eastern part of Brazilian highlands is a rain-shadow region, due to the escarpment formed by the eastern side of the Highlands.
  3. The region to the north of this area is known as ‘Drought Quadrilateral as it receives very less rainfall. Due to this, it becomes difficult to practice agriculture and so it is not well-developed in this region.
  4. Therefore settlement are sparse in north-eastern Brazil.

Question number 8 : development of communication in Brazil.

ans:

  1. Telecommunication services are extremely developed any factors this include telephone mobile phone internet television broadcast radio communication and internet etc.
  2. more than 45% of Brazilian population used in internet.
  3. the telecommunication system is more developed in South Central Brazil butler developed in north and north of Brazil.
  4. There are several hurdles in the expansion of telecommunication services due to the dense vegetated area and large pocket of unpopulated land.
  5. Brazil is all set to send its domestically made satellite into space with its own rockets.
