What is ‘best of five’ scheme?
Maharashtra Board SSC students can notice board is added only top 5 Subjects Marks this is called ‘best of five’ scheme. In the ‘best of five’ scheme top 5 Subjects Marks are considered for percentage calculation l. This system help the students to gain more percentage.
Normally students appear for 6 exams i.e. Hindi, English, Marathi, social Science, and Mathematics in this system out of 6 only top 5 Subjects Marks are calculated. This help the students to gain more percentage and ignore their weaker subject. ‘Best of five’ policy was announced in 8th February 2010 by Maharashtra State Board government.
Non Teaching subject marking scheme
Non Teaching subject are Marked on the basis of assignment submitted by the students. Students are also required to submit their prectical books. Non Teaching subject marks doesn’t effect your overall percentage because non Teaching subject marks are given in the grade form.
