I would like to inform you that our village has decided to celebrate Cleanliness Week from 15th September to 22nd September, 2019, as announced by Talegaon.

Cleanliness keeps us healthy and it is next to godliness. Therefore, we request you to kindly make necessary arrangements for the cleanliness drive in our village. Dustbins should be placed at important places. People should be guided to keep their locality clean and not spit on roads and walls.

We also plan to plant trees and spread awareness among villagers about cleanliness and hygiene. With your support and guidance, this programme will be successful.

I kindly request you to take necessary action at the earliest.

Dear Anil,

How are you? I hope you are fine. I am writing this letter to tell you about how we celebrated Cleanliness Week in our village.

The programme was organised from 15th to 22nd September, 2019. We cleaned our streets and surroundings. Everyone used dustbins and avoided throwing garbage on roads. People were advised not to spit on walls and roads.

We also planted trees and promised to keep our locality clean. Teachers and elders explained that cleanliness keeps us healthy and it is next to godliness. It was a very useful and memorable experience.
